Terms of Service

By creating an account or using StudyPrime (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are under 18, your use must be supervised or authorized by a parent, guardian, or educational institution.

StudyPrime is an AI-powered educational platform that helps students study, generate notes, create flashcards and quizzes, and get help understanding academic material. The Service is intended for educational use only.

You agree to use StudyPrime only for lawful educational purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service to cheat, plagiarize, or commit academic dishonesty. Using AI-generated content and submitting it as your own work without disclosure violates most school academic integrity policies.
• Upload content that contains illegal material, hate speech, explicit content, or private information about others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform or its API.
• Share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts.
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm other users.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You retain ownership of any content you upload to StudyPrime (documents, files, messages). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and store that content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you share with the Service. Do not upload copyrighted materials, exam questions from active tests, or content that contains personally identifiable information about other people.

StudyPrime uses AI to generate study materials, summaries, quizzes, and responses. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. You should always verify important information against authoritative sources. StudyPrime is a study aid, not a substitute for learning or your teacher's instruction.

If you are a student, be aware that messages the AI flags as potential academic integrity concerns (such as requests for help with active tests or quizzes) may be visible to your assigned teacher or school administrator. This is a deliberate feature intended to support responsible AI use in educational settings.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

StudyPrime is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudyPrime and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to academic consequences resulting from AI-generated content.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Prince William County, Virginia.
